The mission of the Grant County Development Authority is to help businesses locate or expand in Grant County with a particular emphasis on those businesses that have the potential to benefit the residents, taxpayers and workers in the county. The CGDA exists to assist businesses that add to the quality of life in Grant County.
The Grant County Development Authority has space available in four industrial parks in the county. Three are located in Petersburg, adjacent to the airport and a rail line terminus of the South Branch Valley Railroad. The other is located in Mt. Storm near the VEPCO power station, close to an interchange on the proposed Corridor H highway, and is served by a rail line of CSX. More information on these parks is available on the county resources' page. The GCDA maintains a listing of properties in Grant County and Petersburg, which could fill most business needs.
